U.S. Open Tennis Championships

The 2018 U.S. Open was certainly memorable with Naomi Osaka making her presence known as a force to be recokoned with as she defeated Serena Williams easily in straight sets. It was her first grand slam title at age 20. In the men's draw, Novak Djokovic proved he is back to 100% health as he became the champion for a third time with a win over Juan Martin Del Potro.

About the U.S. Open

The two-week event is held in the last week of August into September but die-hard tennis fans may want to come early to watch the three qualifying rounds which feature top ranked juniors as well as lower ranked pros vying for a spot in the 128 men's and women's draws. The U.S. Open also features men's and women's doubles, mixed-doubles, and senior and junior draws.
