U.S. Open - USTA National Center Directions

Because of parking difficulties and possible traffic problems, it is strongly advised to use public transportation to the US Open. It is even more emphasized when the NY Mets have a home game on Friday, 9/10 Saturday, 9/11, Sunday, 9/12, since Shea Stadium is on the opposite side of the USTA Tennis Center

Subway
Get on the #7 subway train to the Shea Stadium/Willets Point station. The USTA National Tennis Center is only a brief walk down the ramp from the station.

Or you can take the E or F trains to Roosevelt Avenue and transfer upstairs to the #7 train and follow the directions above.

LIRR Railroad Directions
The Long Island Railroad (LIRR)'s Port Washington line makes a stop at the Shea Stadium/Willets Point station, only a short walk to the USTA National Tennis Center.

Bus Directions
The #48 bus tranports riders to Willets Point, where it is a simple walk south to the USTA tennis center. Or take the Q23 or Q58 to Corona and 51st Avenues, and walk east into Flushing Meadows / Corona Park.



Car Directions to the US Open
From Manhattan: Take the RFK Bridge (formerly Triborough) to the Grand Central Parkway East. Exit the Grand Central Parkway East at Exit 9E – I-678/RT-25A East/Northern Boulevard East. Keep on your left and go to the Van Wyck Expressway South. Exit the Van Wyck Expressway South at Exit 12A – College Point Blvd. Follow signs to US Open Parking.
Grand Central Parkway - East: Get off on exit #9E which is the Northern Blvd. East/Shea Stadium. Continue on the Shea Stadium exit. At the exit ramp, make a right onto Stadium Road. Take that road straight and turn left at the second stop sign. On your right hand side, you'll see The USTA National Tennis Center.

Grand Central Parkway - West: Take the Tennis Center exit (#9P). From the exit ramp, turn left. At the stop sign, turn right onto Meridan Road. The USTA National Tennis Center is on the right.

Long Island Expressway - West:> Exit at College Point Blvd. Continue to Avery Avenue, and turn left. At the stop sign, turn right. Follow that road until the first stop sign and then turn right. Continue straight, and the USTA National Tennis Center is on the right.
