Monte Carlo Masters Open
The ATP Masters Series & WTA Premier tennis tournament, hosted at Monte Carlo Country Club (MCCC) in Monaco is played on the european red clay surface. It is held in mid-April and is one of the first tournaments to start the clay court season prior to the main event, the French Open at Roland Garros. In 2013, Spain's Rafael Nadal brought home his 7th consecutive title from Monaco after defeating compatriot David Ferrer score of 6-4, 7-5.
